I captured this panorama about a month ago with my new digicam, a Canon S3 IS (click below and then scroll sideways to see the full image).
By no means am I a gifted photographer, but I'm pretty pleased with this piece. I had to wait patiently at the top of Twin Peaks for a couple of hours for the light to reach the right level, but after that it was a pretty straight-forward process (save for some Photoshop tweaking here and there). It was taken on a tripod, using a ten second exposure and the self timer to minimize camera movement (though a couple of the sections still suffered from wind vibration).
