2007 was a year of testing the waters. After some intense self-growth work and lots of internal (and some external) adjustments, I had great successes and failures (which are also successes, in what I take from them) while employing the new things I had learned about myself. It really was an amazing year, one that gave me a glimpse of what's possible. But the possible will remain only that until I put the time, energy and nerve into embodying what I am really capable of. So for 2008 I have one broad resolution: step up. Effective immediately, I plan to supercharge my work ethic, take control of my finances and put more energy into relationships with friends and lovers. I have a long history (32 years?) of doing just enough to get by, and it's time for that to end once and for all. I've always known that I'm happier when accomplishing goals and trying new things, so this year is going to be about those two efforts. Two things that I know for sure are that this year is going to be challenging (I will have failed if it isn't) and it is going to be rewarding (meeting challenges always is). Victories to follow. Watch this space.
